The Marketing Department was established on November 27th, 2007 on the basis of inheriting and promoting the tradition of training and scientific research of the Department of Business Administration and Marketing, Faculty of Economics.

Human Resources: The Marketing Department has a team of staff specialized in Marketing, Business Administration and Agricultural Economy, trained domestically and internationally. Currently, the team consitst of 1 Associate Professor, 6 lectures with a Doctorate Degree, and 5 lectures with Masters’ degrees (of which 3 lecturers are postgraduate in the country and abroad). MISSION:

The department is responsible for educating students in Marketing Management, as well as participating in undergraduate and graduate training courses of the Faculty of Accounting and Business Administration. These include Business Administration, Marketing Management, Business Accounting, Agricultural Business and Auditing Accounting. In addition, the department teaches a number of subjects in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Landscape Vegetables and Commerce etc.

Short-term training can be completed at the request of businesses, cooperatives and other organizations. The final goal is to organize activities of scientific research and transfer of knowledge with the above majors as required by society.

Cooperating with domestic organizations and individuals in the fields of Business Administration, Marketing, Rural Development Economics, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development such as: Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Enterprise Industry, Companies, Cooperatives and Other Universities. In addition, the department also cooperates with international non-governmental organizations in training and scientific research in Germany, Belgium, Japan, Canada, Thailand and the Philippines.

-          Current situation and solutions for developing the system of science and technology organizations in Hau Giang province from now to 2020, with a vision to 2030

-          Potentials and market opportunities for Ban Pig in the North, 2013

-          Research on the effects of resource factors on the income of farm households in the Central region, 2013-2015.

-          Production and consumption of fresh milk in the North, 2012

-          Research on solutions for linking in fruit and vegetable production and consumption in Bac Giang province, 2011

-          Research on the competitiveness of SMEs in rural areas, 2010
